About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a formally trained artist who studied Fine Art and Ceramics at RMIT in Melbourne. Elizabeth has also had a working life as a nurse and as well, actively studies buddhist philosophy.
She lives in the small rural community of Chiltern in North East Victoria.
Elizabeth makes functional and sculptural ceramics from porcelain and other clays. Ceramics has become her primary mode of creative expression and continues to be part of her committment to life-long learning.
Highlights of her arts practice include participation in cultural exchanges to France and India.
Professional development has included a visual arts mentorships and participation in the Borders Project, Wonga Wetlands, Albury. The Borders Project explored the theme of the river as border and took participants on a voyage of discovery of our direct and subtle connection to the environment.
Elizabeth has exhibited in solo exhibitions, has exhibited in selected Award exhibitions and group exhibitions. Her work is held in private collections.
